WHAT AFTER 10TH

It is an important time for all the students who pass in 10th standard. After that time, the path towards their Career starts. After the 10th, there is a unique change in the life of all the students, many options are now available to them, among those options which help you to choose the right path, we have brought it for you.

Only your decision can make your bright future, so it is most important that you make the right decision. After the 10th, you will be the first to do all kinds of research that can take you to your carer. Never take any decision under haste or pressure from anyone because it can spoil your future, so take your step with thought and all information.

COURSES AFTER 10TH STD

A) 11th and 12th

B) Polytechnic Diploma

C) Industrial Training Institute (I.T.I)

D) Vocational Courses


A) 11TH AND 12TH STD

This  a 2-year board-appointed course, in which you can choose the board as per your wish. (CBSE, ICSE, STATE BOARD), mainly consists of 3 types of Branches.


1) Science 

This is the branch chosen by the most students because nowadays the level of science has increased a lot. It mainly consists of PCMB (Phy, Chem, Maths, Bio). These are all general subjects, if you are not interested in BIOLOGY, then you can also choose subjects like IT (Information Technology) or COMPUTER SCIENCE in its option. MATHS can also be selected in the option of BIO. (PCM IT / CS)     

If you choose PCMB (General), then after this you can do your Under Graduation (UG) in any of the courses in Medical / Engineering; Or any degree course can be done. And if there is no BIOLOGY subject in your course then you will not be able to do Medical Course. (Except for some Courses)


2) Commerce  

You must have studied economics in class 10, it is the same, its level has increased. In this, you will read about finance in detail, from Bussiness Accounting to Income Tax, Marketing, you will get to learn in it. It is important to study this course in all the areas where you have to keep a record of money, deposit and expenses. Business, Healthcare, CA, Bank PO, Marketing, Trading etc. They are mostly needed in this field.


3) Arts 

Students who do not have any interest in Science and Commerce, can choose this branch. It is not that this branch is lower than other branches, in this also you will get many good Career Options; Because of which you can make your carer. In this, you study subjects like social science, history, political science, manas shastra, economics. Through all these subjects, you can also work in one of the best civil services in the country.

As you all know, UPSC is one of the most important exams in our country, if you have to give 100% in this exam then Arts will be the best route for you. Because more level subjects which are in UPSC, they are what are in Arts. This will make it easier for you to succeed in this exam.

Apart from this, if you are interested in writing or teaching, then you can also do that. You can do your career in any field like pictures, dance, music, crafts.

(Important - Students of any branch can give UPSC, but the subjects will be the same for everyone, only in the last 2 papers you can choose any subject as per your wish.)


B) POLYTECHNIC DIPLOMA COURSE

This is a Diploma Course if you do not want to do 11th and 12th then you can do it. Let me know about it briefly.

It is a 2 -3 year course, it has many options like Mechanical, Computer Science, Civil, Automobile, Biotech, Agri, Food Technology, Architecture, Chemical, Fishery, Marine, Biomedical etc.

After this course, you can also do B.E /B.TECH/B.ARCH or Degree Course. Although all these courses are 4 years old, if you do this after doing Polytechnic, then you get admission in the second year directly. (3-year diploma 3-year degree)

By the way, whatever course you choose in Polytechnic, you will be able to do your degree course by the same course. (Eg Poly. mechanic Degree mechanic) But many Universities will let you choose any option you want.


C) INDUSTRIAL TRAINING INSTITUTE (I.T.I)

It is a Training Institute run by the Government of India. In this, you will be taught about all the work done in the industry, through which you can do your career in any Gov / Private Industry. Courses duration from 6 months to 2 years. Such as Electrician, Fitter, Welding, Fabrication, Electrical, Diesel Mechanic, Plumbing, Computer Software, I.T etc.

His work is related to machine operating to repairing in big industries. Just after the course, you have to do 6 months of additional training (Apprentice), after which you can work in any industry.


D) VOCATIONAL COURSES

This is a 1-2 year course, there are options through which you can easily find a job. Such as Fashion Designing, Sewing, DTP, Jewellery Designing, Marketing, Medical Nursing etc. Even after this, you can do Degree Course.
